On 3/27/2012 was Easton's first real doctor's appointment. Since he is 8, well 9, weeks old that means he had to get shots. =( He was SO good. We had to wait a little while for the doctor to come in. While we waited, he stared at the picture of Snoopy on the wall and "talked" and kicked around. Dr. McCown came in to check him out and said he looked great and was right where he should be. Of course after that, the nurses came back in and had to give him shots. There were 4. The good thing was that one of them was oral. But the others were not. He got 3 shots in his little thighs. They did 2 at the same time then gave him the third. His face turned SO red, before he let out his cry. (and just because he is smaller doesn't mean he cant wale). But he was easy to settle down. I just gave him his paci and held him and it was all over in about 15 seconds. Which made me feel better. Its hard to see your baby cry in pain. I went ahead and gave him infant Tylenol to head off anything that would arise. He did run a small fever. I didn't check it but his head was warm and he had the chills. =( He didn't eat much that night either. But he slept good and was bright and ready to go the next morning!

Likes:
-His paci
-Ceiling fans
-Being talked to
-Sitting up and looking around
-Being held
-Being swaddled at night time
Dislikes:
-Getting out of the bath tub. (its chilly)
-The hiccups
-As odd as this sounds, he doesn't always love riding in the car. Most babies fall asleep, but not my little man. (Well with the exception of after getting shots-see this pic below)
Here is E after he got his shots at the doctors office. He didn't even wait until we left the parking lot to conk out. Love him!!
